About Us


Established in 1982 by Willie Shoemaker and Wendell Evans, Eden Drug was purchased in 2006 by Pete & Debbie Crouch. Eden Drug has always been a locally owned pharmacy.

Eden Drug's Vision is to keep patients healthy, provide exceptional customer experience, and render support to the community.

Eden Drug is a full-service, family-owned pharmacy, serving the individual needs of patients. Our staff strives to provide proper information in order to assist patients in making the most educated decisions about their treatment options. All are encouraged to visit the pharmacy at 103 West Stadium Drive in Eden; therefore allowing our staff the opportunity to get to know you.

Meet Our Pharmacists

Pete Crouch, RPh, CPP

Pete Crouch, owner/pharmacist, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1976 with a B.S. Degree in Pharmacy. He has been with Eden Drug since 2000 and became the owner in 2006.

He is a member of the NCPA and is past president of the Rockingham County Society of Pharmacists. He also served as a Pharmacist Consultant for Hospice of Rockingham County for fifteen years.

Pete has continued his education by achieving certifications in Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, and Immunizations. He is recognized by the N.C. Medical Board as a Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner. This allows him to administer immunization services for health and travel, such as: flu and pneumonia vaccines, hepatitis A&B, tetanus and whooping cough, yellow fever, and shingles.

He is very active in the community. He is a past member of the Board of Trustees at the former Morehead Memorial Hospital, now known as UNC Rockingham Health Care. He served on the Executive Borard of the Eden Chamber of Commerce. Pete encourages his employees to support local organizations like The Lord's Pantry, The American Red Cross, The Pregnancy Center, Relay for Life, and Hospice.

When not in the pharmacy, Pete enjoys fishing and visiting his six grandgirls.
